Girl Scouts of Central Texas and Fiat of Austin

This was a memorable night.

A few weeks ago I got a phone call to help out the Girl Scouts of  Central Texas at the Austin Fiat dealership for the launch of Juliette’s Circle.

What was this all about???  Well let me tell you.

It is motivating.

It is inspiring.

It is a A Program for girls in Science, Technology Engineering and Math! ( STEM)

A sustainable giving campaign for the Girls of Central Texas, that hopes to raise $1 Billion by 2020!!

The Main Speaker,Anna Maria Chávez, CEO of Girl Scouts USA,  and one of the most important  woman leaders in our country lead the night with such motivation. Anna is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of the USA and an award-winning community leader, whose leadership in public service and the nonprofit sector has been widely recognized.  Ms. Chávez is among The NonProfit Times‘ Power & Influence Top 50 and has been recognized as one of the 100 Women Leaders in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) by STEMconnector. –  (Girlscouts of America)

She had such insight on where are young woman are in today’s world and left me speechless. I am a girl scout mom and I was so inspired by her words. I can only hope and continue to support my own daughter to follow in the path they are laying out for her and all the other young woman.
